A PLACE TO LEARN, DISCOVER &
EXPLORE THE EVER CHANGING WORLD
WE DESIGN IN!

✍️ Henry Cheney

We’re here to keep you inspired and informed, with a special focus on the intersection of four key areas:

CGI

Architecture

Design

Technology

Why these four? Because together, they define the future of creativity. At HBC Visual, our love for CGI has driven us to explore its transformative power across industries, and the rapid rise of AI is rewriting the rules of design.

Yet, we remain grounded in the timeless principles of creativity: the artist behind the tool will always matter.

The only way to do great work is to love what you do.

MENTAL MUSINGS /

Just as a well-tuned instrument resonates with a clear, pure sound, our authentic selves resonate with a unique frequency. In a world often clamouring for conformity, daring to express our true voice – in our work, our art, our interactions – creates a powerful, undeniable resonance.

What unexpressed truth, what genuine perspective, are you ready to share that will allow your unique frequency to ring out clearly?

CGI

In the world of CGI, Twinmotion is helping to evolve fashion design by giving rise to a new type of designer who can experiment and develop their ideas in real time. The Fashion Innovation Agency teamed up with designer Taskin Goec to explore the potential of this innovative workflow, quickly developing immersive storytelling experiences.

Architecture

In the world of Architecture, truly great design has the ability to connect us to the genuine rhythms of life. This beautiful project, highlighted in the video and expertly narrated by principal architect Jim Cutler, is a perfect example. He truly captures how the sense of arrival can help build a narrative about a space, offering a stunning window into how nature and living can exist in harmony when done properly.

Design

In the world of Design, Thomas Heatherwick collaborated with Tala to create the Wake Sleep light, a lamp designed to align with natural sleep and wake cycles. The lamp features a beautiful, rippled, sun-like glass bulb on a ceramic base. Its rotatable base allows for dimming, while an accompanying app offers adjustable wake and sleep sounds. With the nights drawing in, this device truly evokes cosy autumn and winter vibes.

Technology

In the world of Technology, we all know we should get away from our phones to be more present in our lives, but what do we actually do about it? After watching this great video, I've been thinking more about these new types of products. I don't think it will be long until technology like the BRICK is implemented as standard in offices, schools, cars, and other spaces. Sadly, the product featured from BRICK is only available on the iPhone, but Android support is currently in development.

Creativity is the way I share my soul with the world.

Doodle

Instead of relying on AI-generated images, we invite you to doodle! Sketching isn’t just for fun—it’s a way to unlock creativity and explore new ideas. Each issue, we’ll feature one doodle, and soon, we’d love to showcase your creations.

🎨 Grab a pen, unleash your imagination, and get doodling! 🎨
